About Ajyal Schools
A new model for public schools in the UAE, launched by Emirates Schools Establishment (ESE), combining the national curricula, including the Arabic language, Islamic education, moral education, and social studies, with the American curriculum for subjects such as mathematics, science, and others.
ESE has started implementing the Ajyal Schools model in ten public schools (Cycle 1), for the academic year 2022-2023. It will be adding 8 new Cycle 1 public school, to implement this model during the academic year 2023-2024, bringing the total number of schools that implement the model to 18 schools for the academic year 2023-2024. Ajyal Schools will be operated by three private educational operators: Taaleem, Bloom, and Aldar Education, under the supervision of the Emirates Schools Establishment.
